Voyager turns 25!
During 2019, Voyager turned 25! On June 20, 1994, a group of librarians and software developers got together and started to design the Voyager integrated library system.
Since Voyager’s first release in 1995, the system has grown into a robust and feature-rich library system adopted by academic and research libraries all over the world. Functionality has expanded to support libraries of all sizes, from very small to large multi-library consortia and national libraries.
In recognition of this momentous occasion, Ex Libris thanked libraries for being a part of the Voyager journey over the past 25 years and expressed enthusiasm for a long and happy future.
