SFX WG Updates

News from the SFX Product Working Group

Support for COUNTER 5 won’t make it to Ustat in 2020, however, there other services handling COUNTER 5 which Ustat users missing COUNTER 5 support can use. Journal Usage Statistics Portal (JUSP) from JISC is one of these services. There are more than 200 libraries from UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Sweden already using JUSP for statistics reports. More details about JUSP are available at the service web pages. Another service supporting COUNTER 5 is CzechELib Usage Statistics (Celus). Celus is handling both COUNTER 5 and COUNTER 4 reports. The reports are harvested via SUSHI or uploaded manually. There are both usage and denials reports. There are consortia features in Celus, organisation can compare resources usage in the organisation to usage of resources in other organisations in a consortia. Celus is used by Czech libraries from CzecheLib consortias and available to libraries around the world. Celus is an Open Sources project and its friendly support team is happy to answer every question you might have or provide you with an access to the online demo, where you can play with Celus at your own pace – just send your enquiries to ask@celus.net.
