2717 RESTful API: photocopy and acquisition requests Extend the RESTful API to allow creating new photocopy and acquisition requests. The existing API only supports GET and DELETE method, PUT is not supported. 40 805
2696 Acquisitions, items, circulation: changes are deleted without warning Any changes in any form (e.g. items and orders) are cancelled when changing the tab in the left frame (e.g. from ‘items’ to ‘search’) without saving the changes first. At least the user should receive a warning message: “Your changes have not been saved. Continue anyway?”. 10 761
2718 More than 6 columns for print_08 files The rep_tab_short table defines the columns included in the columnar report produced by the b_print_08 batch job. So far, up to 6 columns can be defined. It would be much appreciated to be able to define easily more than 6 columns (10, 15?) or to define an unlimited number of columns. 14 726
2682 Total price should be automatically calculated by the system Currently, Aleph is not able to calculate the total price automatically when there is amendment to the unit price. For example, if the number of unit is changed, user has to input manually the unit price, total price and estimated price. To save processing time and minimised error, it will be good if the total price can be computed automatically by the system. 16 656
2266 Editing all of ‘Bibliographic Details’ within ILL request tab We wish to be able to edit all of the ‘bibliographic details’ of submitted requests via the ILL module rather than only being able to edit some fields, the rest being editable only via the Cataloguing module basic MARC record created for the request. Ideally the ‘bibliographic details’ tab form in ILL module should match ALL of the fields offered when creating a new borrowing request (whether via ILL module or Web OPAC). As a minimum we require ‘place of publication’ and ‘Series’ to be editable. Currently the request has to be pushed to cataloguing module to enable updating of these fields. However, access to our cataloguing module is limited to cataloguers only. The original query on how to edit this data was raised via Pivotal 16384-164406. 13 573
2279 EDI to process multiple item records attached to one catalogue record (updated request) The information in this request was updated 5/9/2012 for reconsideration in the voting cycle. We would like EDI to be able to manage the import of multiple item records attached to just the one catalogue record. At the moment ALEPH will only import one item record per catalogue record. However we order multiple copies of the same title, each could have different loan statues and sub-library codes, therefore the EDI import needs to be able to manage these multiple items and the differing item data descriptors. Currently local data on the imported record is held in field 049 ($$asub-library), 980 ($$aorder date, $$bprice, $$ccurrency, $$gno of copies, $$sloan status), 981 ($$bbudget code) and 982 ($$ainitiator) fields, to create one 980 equivalent but for each separate item. 20 566
2270 Search ‘Find’ function to retain search terms details of previous search In Search ‘Find’ function in all ALEPH client modules, when a search is performed and the operator wishes to run the same search again but against a new ‘base’, then we wish to retain the search terms entered in the previous search. Currently the search term is cleared. 15 517
