| 2242 | Using the comma as a parameter in all operation codes for homemade fix procedures (p_file_08) | In addition to the many “ready made” fix procedures, it is possible in Aleph to create homemade fix procedures (cf. p_file_08 and pdf “How to Set Up a Script for the Correction of Records in ALEPH Sequential Format”). Those procedures are often created by libraries when a standard fix procedure does not fit the specific needs of the library. In those homemade procedures, it is often possible to combine specific parameters, which are space- or comma-separated. Since the comma is used as a separator, it can NOT be used as a parameter or be included in a parameter (which is however possible for brackets, colons, semicolons, guillemets, full stops…). In Aleph v21, the library will have the option to choose the delimiter type – instead of comma – for REPLACE-STRING procedure, but the use of the comma (in parameters or as a parameter) with other operation codes (eg: ADD-FIELD, ADD-SUBFIELD, DELETE-FIELD-COND…) would be very useful too. | 13 | 536 |

| 2268 | ‘Push to Patron’ button from ILL module to Circulation module | From ‘Borrowing Request List’, when filtered by Patron ID/Barcode, we wish to be able to jump to the requesting patron’s circulation record – via a ‘Push to Patron’ button – irrespective of the status of the request. Currently to do this you have to follow these steps, from filtered patron list we have to ‘Push to Circ’ which goes to item record, then select ‘Loan’, then select ‘Go to Patron’. The schedule are counted in voting cycle years, which doesn’t necessarily reflect Aleph versions:
- Sept. 15, 2011: NERS database is closed to new enhancement requests
- Sept. 15 – Oct. 15: PWG’s clarify and validate requests
- Oct. 15: First vote period opens
- Nov. 1: First vote closes
- Nov. 1-15: ELUNA and IGeLU PWG’s each select their top 30 requests for pointing and forward them to ExLibris
- Nov. 15 – Mar. 1, 2012: ExLibris assigns development points, PWG’s work with ExLibris to clarify requests and pointing
- Mar. 8-21: Final round of voting [was: 1-15]
- Mar. 22-April 1: PWG’s select final enhancements to submit to ExLibris
- April 1, 2012: PWG’s submit final enhancements to ExLibris
