The Collaborative Testing for ALEPH version 21 took place from January 8th to 12th 2012 in Jerusalem. IGeLU nominated Maya Amichal from Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel and Sílvia Lopes from Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Lisbon (FFUL), Portugal as testers.
Particular attention was paid to enhancements from the IGeLU voting, which are:
- 1679 – loan of similar items
- 1737 – Requesting multiple items from basket or e-shelf
- 1746 – Limitation of renewal in p_cir_08
- 1752 – Additional hold request checks
- 1787 – validation of email address
- 1735 – leaving changed item without saving
- 1826 – HTML format patron notices within body of email rather than as attachment
- 1628 – WWW OPAC – history of hold requests
- 1779 – Display item call number and a loan counter during loan session, and a return counter during return session
- 1774 – Use of the comma in scripts for correction of records in Aleph sequential format
