Over the last two (2) years Guido Badalamenti has been working with our lawyers and relevant Italian Government departments to get IGeLU registered as a ‘recognised’ not-for-profit organisation. This work involved numerous meetings with our lawyers, notaries, and government departments. In addition, various changes had to be undertaken to the IGeLU Statute to meet the reporting and structural requirements associated with being a recognised not-for-profit organisation. As you can imaging this process has been difficult to undertake especially with the COVID lockdowns that we have all experienced.
The good news is that on the 19th November, 2021 we were notified that IGeLU has become an official recognised not-for-profit organisation. Registered under number 349 of the Register for Legal Person of the Prefect in Siena.
I would like to thank Guido for the hard work and effort that he has put in over the last two years to achieve this excellent result for the IGeLU organisation
